Letter for mom

And thank you for my three sisters.

letter to mom from teenage daughter

I wish you were here. Thank you for teaching me many life skills and lessons, how to be more independent. You will tell me you sat in the church and watched me marry my husband. I aspire to hold your patience and kind heart to me while bringing up my children.

A letter to my mother poem

Dream of what you want to be. Thank you for being an example of strength, love, compassion, sacrifice, and a thousand other things. Kindergartner is for learning, but also for fun. You are my best friend, forever and always. Thank you for always loving me unconditionally. Many were bad things, but some were good. A mother is one who understands the things you say and do, who overlooks your faults and sees the best in you. Learn and discover all of them, and don't be afraid of any of them. No matter how odd my dreams seemed to you, you always respected that I am my own person with dreams of my own. I hope you can see how tall they are getting.

Sure I can't say that we have had a smooth journey, but I can bet on that last penny in my pocket that it has been more inspiring and worth living eachday with you by our side. I learned to appreciate everything you ever did for our family.

I had to get it all out and writing it down was the only way that worked. Probably nothing. The loss makes it hard to breathe. I miss you too mom, and I hope to see you soon.

I had to wonder if it was a sign from you that you were in heaven. Thank you for standing by me when I had to make difficult decisions.
